The Isle of May National Nature Reserve (NNR) is a fantastic nature reserve with an internationally important breeding seabird and grey seal island. We (Scottish Natural Heritage) manage the island and this management is laid out for all to see in a management plan. We are in the process of producing a new management plan for the reserve and would like to hear the views of people with an interest in the future of the Isle of May. Often there is very little we can change in terms of managing the natural heritage as we are have to protect it. But there is scope for us to alter or do things differently in terms of how we manage the reserve for visitors. It is on these aspects people management that we would welcome ideas or comments.
You can find out more about the areas that we would like peoples views by looking at the consultation leaflet here http://www.snh.gov.uk/docs/A1470461.pdf,
Or you can just tell us what you think by
or phoning the SNH Cupar office on : 01334654038
The consultation on the plan will run from the 8th December 2014 to 25th January 2015
