Wednesday 7th October comments: It’s been a grim, wet day on the Isle of May as the low pressure remains with us and the rain never stopped all day. Looking for birdlife in these conditions isn’t good for anyone; us or the birds so very little to report although it appears the Hoopoe and Red-throated Pipit have moved on.

It’s been a good few days of migrant action on the May and as the weather looks like its settling, we’ll be taking a closer look at our Grey Seals as more pups have been born. In the meantime enjoy more photos, especially of the islands third ever Red-throated Pipit and we’ll see what tomorrow brings (hopefully no more rain!)
