Goodbye boat

Happy boat heading home

Saturday 3rd September: Success! Today brought the first of a two day special event which allowed people access to all buildings across the island. The ‘Open Doors’ event allows people the unique chance to look inside all buildings on the island from the oldest Lighthouse in Scotland to the main Lighthouse which is celebrating its 200th Birthday. We’ve also got expert archaeologists on hand at the priory to give people more information about the human history of the isle of May

The good news is that we repeat the event tomorrow (Sunday) and there are still places available on the boats (please see boat times and details below for further information). So don’t delay, with good weather forecast book now for a great day out.
