Saturday 25th May comments: The Isle of May has something for everyone and today we reveal that we’ve teamed up with the Pittenweem Art festival for a great summer exhibition of art displayed in the Stevenson lighthouse.
The exhibition is the work of thirty of the many artists who live and work in the village of Pittenweem and they form the core of the famous Pittenweem Arts Festival held in the village each year in August. The Isle of May and Pittenweem have a long shared history down through the ages evidenced in archaeology, maritime trade and heritage and the chosen art work also reflects the environment of the May.
The lighthouse and exhibition will be open every weekend throughout the summer, it is free to enter and will also be open daily from 1st August-30th September.
